Victoria Campbell, Consultant Haematologist & Transplant Program Director at NHS Lothian, NA-ATTC’s NHS partner in Edinburgh, has been awarded a prestigious NRG Researcher Fellowship to support trial activity, including for advanced therapies, in Haematology/Oncology. The award provides funding for protected time to contribute to, conduct and lead clinical research with the aim to increase and strengthen the research culture in Scotland’s NHS, striving for research excellence across all disease areas. Victoria has been instrumental in driving NA-ATTC’s ‘Institutional Readiness’ activity in NHS Lothian, notably gearing up for delivery of CAR-T Cell Therapy and further developing capability for advanced therapy trials.

This fellowship provides the opportunity for NHS Lothian to further expand its portfolio of advanced therapy clinical trials, thereby supporting the translation of these products whilst providing access of these innovative medicines to patients.
