The Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult and the Advanced Therapy Treatment Centre (ATTC) network, are pleased to announce the publication of our new report, “Delivering the National Advanced Therapies Vision for the UK”.

Four years on from the publication of the original National Cell and Gene Therapy Vision for the UK, this report assesses the progress made in expanding access to advanced therapies across the UK and identifies the key priorities that require further attention to support future growth and patient access.

Drawing on engagement with stakeholders from across government, the NHS, industry, academia and patient communities, the report reviews progress made in addressing five key barriers to advanced therapy adoption: manufacturing requirements, value assessment, system planning and efficiency, data infrastructure and registry systems, and early information sharing. Looking ahead, it highlights the need for a government-supported National Advanced Therapies Vision to provide a coordinated framework for addressing future challenges and sustaining the UK’s leadership in advanced therapies.
