Charlotte Stenson, a Fellow based at Newcastle Hospitals who has been leading NA-ATTC’s CAR-T Cell Therapy patient-orientated research at The Northern Centre for Cancer Care, was successfully appointed as the North East of England’s first Palliative Care Academic Clinical Fellow (ACF).  ACF is a NIHR funded post that supports integrated academic and clinical training in the early part of speciality training to facilitate the development of an academic career within the chosen specialty. This is a really exciting opportunity for Charlotte to be part of the development of palliative care research networks in the region and for which she will use the extensive experience gained from her work with NA-ATTC and patients treated with this Advanced Therapy.
